Each year the PPU aims to facilitate class reunions, stage an annual golf classic, provide a forum for alum networking, participate in and contribute to several College activities and donate to local and, on occasion, national charities. The PPU presents Outstanding Achievement Awards to past pupils who have contributed significantly in their respective fields of endeavour.
The PPU supports many College activities, including the presentation of a unique ‘SCT’ tie to the members of each year’s senior cup rugby panel, and all sixth-year pupils, at their graduation dinner, of a certificate acknowledging five years of honorary membership of the PPU. An Executive Committee manages the PPU voluntarily, which typically meets each month to plan and organise events designed to further the PPU’s aims: We usually appoint a sub-committee to plan and undertake specific events and projects. The PPU is continuously looking to further our work and develop new ways of connecting past pupils. We would be delighted to hear from past pupils who want to work with us either as a member of the Executive Committee or on a more limited basis as a sub-committee to support a specific project. |
