23/11/2025 - Hugh McEnaney
On January 10th, 2026, a group of CBC past pupils will be taking the plunge into the Irish Sea to support their dear friend Hugh McEnaney, class of 1987. Hugh has been courageously battling pancreatic cancer for the past three months, and now, more than ever, he needs our help. This fight has been tough, with daily medications and bi-weekly chemotherapy sessions, but there is hope on the horizon.
Hugh is not just a friend; he is a devoted teacher, actor, husband, and father. He has always been there for others, whether it’s fundraising for a cause or volunteering his time. Now, it’s our turn to stand by him. His friends are raising funds to help Hugh access a breakthrough immunotherapy treatment that could give him more time with his family.
The goal is to raise €20,000 to make this life-saving treatment possible. Every donation, no matter how small, brings Hugh closer to more memories with his wife Olga and daughter Alexandra.
